To apply for a Vietnam e-visa you will need: a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining beyond your travel dates, a digital passport-style photo on a plain white background taken within the last 6 months, your intended entry and exit dates, your planned port of entry, and a valid email address to receive your approved visa. No physical documents need to be mailed.
How long can I stay in Vietnam with an e-visa?
The single entry e-visa allows a stay of up to 30 days from your date of entry. The multiple entry e-visa allows stays of up to 90 days in total within the validity period, with unlimited entries and exits. If you need to stay longer, you may apply for an extension through Vietnamese immigration authorities while in the country.
Can I extend my Vietnam e-visa?
Standard single entry and multiple entry e-visas cannot be extended once issued. If you need to stay beyond the authorized period you must exit Vietnam and reapply. The business visa, however, can be extended in-country through the local immigration office. If you anticipate needing extra time, choose the 90-day multiple entry option from the start.

The Vietnam e-visa is accepted at all international airports including Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City), Da Nang International Airport, and Cam Ranh International Airport (Nha Trang). It is also valid at most major land border crossings and sea ports. Your approved visa will specify the entry point you selected during the application.

The Vietnam e-visa single entry 30-day visa starts from $25 and the multiple entry 90-day visa starts from $45. Business visas start from $65. Express processing fees vary by turnaround time. All fees are displayed transparently before you confirm your application — there are no hidden charges.
What is the difference between single entry and multiple entry e-visa?
A single entry e-visa allows you to enter Vietnam once and stay for up to 30 days. Once you exit the country, the visa expires and cannot be reused. A multiple entry e-visa lets you enter and exit Vietnam as many times as you like within the 90-day validity period, making it ideal for travelers who plan to visit neighboring countries such as Cambodia, Laos, or Thailand and return to Vietnam.
